1976 Chevron B35 Historic F2

£99,950

The B35 was one of a series of highly successful designs from the Bolton concern, and was raced by some motorsport legends in period, including Rosberg, Tambay, Lafitte and Mass, to name but a few. The model is still sought after today as a very competitive proposition for Historic F2.

Chassis number 35.76.04 was originally supplied to Fred Opert and was raced by his drivers in 14 races in period, including Harald Ertl, Rolf Stommelen, Jacques Laffite, Tom Pryce and Jean-Pierre Jarier. The car’s full history can be found at Chevron B35 car-by-car histories | OldRacingCars.com

Following a lengthy period in the US it has more recently been maintained and run by the highly respected Hitech Motorsport team and driven with great success by Tim de Silva – including a storming drive from the back of the grid to third place at this year’s Classic, earning Tim the Driver of the Meeting award.

Powered by a low mileage Richardson BDG and supplied complete with slicks and wets on rims, a spare nose and current HTP papers. Attractively finished in pale blue Gitanes livery. Properly prepared and in immaculate condition throughout, the Chevron represents remarkable value for money for such a competitive F2.
